Then I opened my pressies - spoilt as usual !
Chocolate from DD, and the seeds; book, DVD and CD from DH. In photo no 2, flowers on the bottom are from DH, and the card is from both of them, wonderfully decorated on the inside by DD.
This beautiful planter was from DD, I love the colour, such a warm orange. And inside she has planted me a "something".We don't know what it is as she can't remember, and has put the packaging away -apparently it is big and purple!! We will find out next Spring I guess. DD also got me this beautiful scarf - aren't the colours gorgeous?? It is absolutely lovely, and I got to wear it this afternoon when we went to her work experience placement to get a cup of coffee...
This is bowl I got, that is very happily holding chocolate - though I think perhaps, not for much longer....
And look I got me a knitting in the garden chair. As the weather wasn't too great today, I haven't been able to test it out in the open, but I did have a sit in the dining room - it is "mighty fine"...to quote Harvey KinkelHere is Moosey, modelling the afternoon tea table - he is a very good model, complete with the tins that my sister and her family bought for me. And I can't throw my paper away, so here is my dining room at the moment. Anyone got any idea as to what I can do with it?? It really is too good for recycling via the binmen...
And I made myself some cupcakes - courtesy of this book. Help yourself!

I like the planter best and whatever sprouts is like a belated b-day present.
And I'm glad I'm not the only one that bakes for her birthday. I love baking!
