An "I heart NY" T-Shirt. DD has been desperate for one of these for years, and now she has one. She got home before I did, and phoned and said that we had a very exciting parcel from the US - she loves these exciting parcels as much as I do. So I said for her to put me on speakerphone and open it, I wanted to hear her reaction, but she also needed 2 hands to be able to rip into it. She said that inside was a letter for me, and a parcel in a ziploc bag. She opened this and I asked if she could see what it is yet (Thanks Rolf) and she said no as it was wrapped in tissue...............................................................................................2 layers! Then with a lot of ripping of paper she was in, it was the long dreamt of "I Heart NY" T Shirt. Was she happy????? What a silly question! She was delighted! She is sitting here wearing it now (with her pj bottoms), I am not sure I am going to get the chance to wrestle it off her for weeks. I haven't had a chance to photo it yet (that will be a fashion-shoot opportunity in Stratford this weekend - if you happen to be in Stratford come and jump into the photos, and get on the blog), but she had already done the picture above to say a very big thank you to Weezalana

Big thanks to Weezalana.....
look what she sent over for DD...An "I heart NY" T-Shirt. DD has been desperate for one of these for years, and now she has one. She got home before I did, and phoned and said that we had a very exciting parcel from the US - she loves these exciting parcels as much as I do. Good Friday...
so we went to see my sister and nephews in Ely...as soon as we got there they had their Easter Choccies, and tucked in straight away....there is only one way to tackle a chocolate bunny - straight in! 
Then, it was time for Ollie to open his birthday present. He is 5 on the 15th of April, but we really wanted to see his face when he opened his Turtle Suit. As you can see he was very impressed.........
The when the paparazzi arrived Alex wasn't going to be out done so into the dressing up box he went and came back as a policeman. We then had a 10 minute photo session. And don't they love it...I love this photo, just look at their faces 
For lunch we went to Soham to a little portuguese cafe and to go to the shop there. Sis and I spent some time living in Portugal, and we really miss a lot of things about the Algarve, but especially the food. So we started in the cafe with Sumol and I had to have a pastel de nata before being disappointed that they didn't do lunch. Never mind, off to the shop, where I bought: 
yes, that is DD's bum swinging towards me! After this we went down to the river and had ice creams, before a visit to another park! We had a lovely time, and revelled in the sunshine. The boys are growing up soooo quickly, it was great to see them.
Today we went into town to buy easter eggs for our goddaughter and her sister, and popped into the pub for a quick drink and a sit in the sunshine...oohh and to eat a little chocolate...
Then we added to the family, DD brought home a hamster...photos tomorrow.
I apologise for the lack of knitting, I can't post what I am currently working on as it is for a regular blog reader mwah hah hah!

Bifana, chips, and linguica. And we sat in the garden in the sun, it was fantastic...I had only been saying to DH that the wonderful weather reminded me of a Portuguese spring day - the smells, the light, the heat, and there we were eating outside in the sunshine enjoying delicious food. Ollie and Alex enjoyed it too, the man brought out pens so they could write on the table cloths (paper ones), and then Charlotte explained that Portugal is where they are going on holiday, and the boys were very happy.

DD said I forgot to put a title...so here it is!

LOOK!! Lots of gifts...
Look at this...MY cup and saucer, isn't it fab. It is illustrated by the same lady who illustrated Guess How Much I love You..mine and DD's favourite book.

I also had 2 boxes of Marmite Biscuits - yummy! She paid for all of this herself, she has a paper round, and she chose it all herself too. Aren't I lucky?
I was spoilt rotten...we had lunch at Cafe Rouge the day before - which was delicious.
The reason we had Mothers Day lunch on the Saturday was because work had decided that the best day to start our conference and get everyone to travel was that Sunday - I was NOT happy!!!
But thank you DD and DH I did really enjoy my Mothers Day weekend...same time next year?

DD is home from her ski trip
YAY - We picked DD up from the school at 4.00pm this afternoon. She had spent the last 20 hours travelling back on a bus, and as the kids got off the bus they all looked shattered and very pleased to be home. Within 1/2 an hour of being home she was in the bath complaining that she could feel all of her aches and see of all her bruises - she had been upgraded to the Intermediate Group. Half an hour later she ate, and then half an hour after that I found her asleep in my bed.
Sounds like they had a really good time - she is already talking about putting her name in the hat for next year. They are hoping to organise 2 trips next year, so hopefully she should be lucky enough to go again. We'll start saving now ;-) She bought DH some chocolate, a large packet of toblerone and some Ritter (which has all been eaten), and I got these: a cow bell, to go with the one she bought me last year, and some wooden hearts...it is good to have her home even if she is asleep.
I also have a couple of FOs to show off:
