DD's Sweetie Tree is up. We had to take a quick trip to Woolys to pick up some more lights, it hasn't photod well, but there are 200 coloured static lights on this gorgeous tree....I love this tree. It stands in the hall, and is great to see when you come in at night.
And, my garland is finished and I owe huge thanks to
allsorts and
creative thinking for it, the oranges are dried, the advent candle is lit (took us days to find one of those - what is going on?? you can buy tons of crap but nothing traditional?!?!?!), as is my yummy cinnamon yankee candle...I love this time of the year.
DD has been sick, so has been off school the last 2 days. She seems to be better now, she almost seems to need a couple of days out every 6 months or so....if it helps her then I am ok with it. We had a nice couple of days together.
This weekend DH and DD will get the tree for the living room. We have made the decorations for that too, and are looking forward to how it will turn out - the theme is red and cream, stars and hearts....photos will follow.
