Productive Day all round...

and it is only 3.45pm...
DD made some bite size scones which we'll have in a minute with some jam - I would like to say it will be homemade but it isn't. That is a New Years Resolution for this summer ;-)
Thanks to FaeryNuff for the heart lolly which she sent me as part of my fab VD package.

DH has been out and completed 100km on his bike in an organised event (he has now collapsed in the bath in agony - hee hee), which he has had on his "to do" list for 2 years!! The photo isn't of him, but that is what he has been doing...And I have booked accommodation in the Lakes for my (cough) b'day in July, which happens to coincide with the Woolfest - YAY, very excited about that......a long weekend away, with the family, a "slight" involvement of yarn and possibly get to meet some UK knittyheads....sounds perfect!

Sad news: the jaywalker pictured lovingly in a previous post had to be frogged ggrrrrrrr, I made a mistake that I couldn't have lived with. So I have started again...3rd time lucky

....1 post, and 24 hours later I have 6 comments! And 35 people have looked at it! Can you believe it.

Anyway, moving on from being amazed, DD has asked me to post the following photos. She has been busy.

Yesterday was Fairy Cakes Day - various flavours, lemon, orange, raspberry and strawberry. And then she found the food colouring.

We had dark pink, light pink, orange, and yellow butter icing.

They were absolutely delicious, but it did take me about 1/2 an hour to come back down after the sugar and the e-numbers.

But don't they look fab.

Must go and do some knitting.
