The suggestion that you put it near to something they regard as safe shelter seems a good idea. Then you can move it back to a more central area as they get used to it, perhaps? The birds hardly touched them and when they did, the spilt seed seemed to encourage the mice to come and have a feast so that was it! The bird table looks so lovely! Love the bunting too!
